In Summer 2022, drainage and utility work was conducted in preparation for construction. Lane restrictions will be in place along I-15 as gantry foundations for Active Management Signs are installed. The most significant and impactful work on the interchange will take place in 2023 and 2024 when the Tropicana bridge is dismantled and reconstructed in two phases. During this time, the I-15 southbound flyover ramp to Tropicana eastbound will be closed, partially demolished, and rebuilt. Also in 2024, Dean Martin will be realigned to travel under Tropicana Avenue. The project is scheduled to be completed by mid 2025.
