What to Expect in PHASE 2
Thank you for your patience during NDOT’s “Dropicana” demolition event and the full closure of I-15 at Tropicana. NDOT successfully demolished a portion of the I-15 southbound flyover ramp to Tropicana eastbound, and also demolished the north side of the Tropicana bridge over I-15.
As we work to rebuild these bridges and make additional improvements to the north side of the Tropicana Interchange, the following traffic restrictions will remain in place until Fall 2023:
Closed Ramps
- Tropicana on-ramp to I-15 NB
- I-15 SB ramp to Tropicana WB
- I-15 NB ramp to Arena Dr (will remain closed until Summer 2024)
- I-15 SB flyover to Tropicana EB (will remain closed until Summer 2024)
Tropicana, between Dean Martin and New York-New York, is also now reduced to two lanes in each direction. All traffic is on the south side of the bridge. There are two areas on the bridge where eastbound and westbound traffic cross each other at a stoplight. This configuration allows better and more free-flowing access to ramps. Please drive safely and follow traffic control devices. For more information about Phase 2 traffic restrictions, please click here.
